What's Happening Around The Ranch? What’s Ahead for December?

As we wrap up November, I can’t help but feel grateful for everything we were able to accomplish this month. It’s been full, busy, and inspiring.

We started off with our BIT webinar, and it was a fantastic turnout. We spent the evening diving into how bits function, how communication changes as our horses advance, and how to be intentional about the feel we offer. The questions you brought made the night.

The following week, our Ranch Circle group went deeper into those topics during our Q&A call. One thing I love about these calls is the way the conversation naturally evolves into exactly what the group needs. We explored when to transition a horse into a leverage bit, different types we use and why, and what to look for in the process. We also ended up in some big-picture discussions about changes we’d love to see in the horse industry and that was a fun one.

Looking ahead, December is already stacked. With Thanksgiving landing a little later this year, we’re sliding right into the holidays, and I know everyone is going to be busy.

Here’s what’s coming up:

December Ranch Circle Challenge — December 1
This month's challenge is designed specifically for the busy season. Quick, simple exercises that keep you moving forward even when you only have a few minutes in the barn.

Rein Management Webinar — December 2
This will build directly off the BIT webinar and expand into rein use with clarity and purpose.

Circle Q&A — December 9
If you’ve been thinking about joining the Circle, this is a great time. These calls are supportive, relaxed, and filled with meaningful conversation.

Around the Ranch
The weanlings have arrived and are settling in nicely. We also brought in new calves, and it’s been fun watching everything settle and adjust. There’s something exciting about this season, fresh energy, new starts, and momentum heading into the new year.

We’re closing out November strong, and I’m looking forward to rolling into December with you all.

Have a blessed Holiday Season!
